Burbank Sunrise was out to support the Burbank Noon Club at their Red Sand Project Burbank event raising awareness of the issue of human trafficking. We placed red sand in the pavement cracks to symbolize victims of human trafficking. The victims tend to be the marginalized who seemingly fall through the cracks of society while others profit from them. This nationwide interactive art project brings attention to their plight.
