September 26th was a very busy meeting! The club was proud to present a check to our very own Interact member Noah who is completing his Eagle Project for Boy Scout Troop 18. He is refurbishing the Drama Department at Burroughs HS. The club also collected and donated bags of sweaters, jackets, and socks to be donated to LAUSD students and families. In addition, we donated wax lips for the Kids Community Dental Clinic Trunk or Treat event, which is sadly the same night as our club Halloween party! On the 29th, several members were up early to volunteer at the VFW Golf Tournament and on Sunday we were proud to be one of the sponsors of the Empty Bowl Fundraiser for Home Again LA! Did I mention we’re a busy club?
